Courses and Destinations
Melbourne Sand Belt and Mornington Peninsula
Golf Courses
Many of the best courses in Australia are in the Melbourne sandbelt area located in the southern suburbs on the way to the Mornington Peninsula. Included are Royal Melbourne, Metropolitan, Kingston Heath and Peninsula.
On the Peninsula there are at least 10 courses, which can be accessed. They are all within 20 minutes drive of the selected accommodation. Courses included are The National, Moonah Links, The Dunes, St Andrews Beach, Eagle Ridge, Sorrento and Portsea.
Food & Wine
Breakfasts will be arranged at the accommodation hotel. Lunches or snacks after the daily golf rounds will most likely be at the golf club where we are playing. Dinners will be arranged in advance at selected local restaurants and of course transport will be on hand to take the group members to and fro. Wine tours to the adjacent Red Hill winery region can also be arranged.
Luxury, Shopping & Relaxation
Our aim is to give touring groups the best experience in golf, accommodation, meals and all the other great activities available during your stay. As you will be dealing directly with John and Jill it is easy to organize anything you want to do. You can choose between resting up when you are not on the golf course and doing one of the many fascinating things there are to do. Jill will arrange alternative activities for group members who may want to take a day off golf. These include visits to shops, health spas, wineries, fishing, prize gardens of the region; ocean scenery….. the list goes on and on.Accommodation
Accommodation
We arrange accommodation usually at the Hotel Sorrento, which is located on the cliff overlooking Port Phillip Bay. However there are alternatives, which can be booked including the Peppers Resort at Moonah Links.
Eventually we will be offering accommodation at the new house we will be building on a beautiful elevated site at Portsea. There will be regular updates on progress there.
